BACB Ethics Code 2022

The BACB Ethics Code is the foundation for our practice here at Animas ABA.

Ethics matter in the field of ABA. The ethics code was created as a set of guidelines that professionals with this type of certification must follow, regardless of their own personal belief system or internal biases. You can find the entire code linked below, please feel free to read through it on your own time.

Because ethics and transparency matter deeply to us at Animas ABA, we want to make a clear statement in support of diversity, equity, and inclusion. These principles are so critical in developing comprehensive policy that can support neurodivergent people as our society strives to meet their unique needs. We will always advocate for this population of individuals and recognize that our society has a long ways to go in terms of addressing deep disparities that exist. For example, autistic adults with college degrees face high degrees of unemployment and often are paid less in jobs than their neurotypical peers. DEI facing policies have come under major political pressure recently in the United States, and as a company we want our clients and their families to know that we do not see this as a political issue, but as one that we must stand firmly beside in order to dignify the work we do & continue to advocate for the neurodivergent population.
